Well its here!!!

The iPhone 5…FAIL!!!

Not exactly what everyone was hoping for, but a new iPhone was released today.  It was the iPhone 4S.  What happened to the iPhone 5?  Though there were rumors of an iPhone 4S, everyone thought it would just be some cheap phone for Spint and the other low end carriers.  We all expected the iPhone 5.

The exterior looks remarkably like the iPhone 4.  Probably because it is identical to the iPhone 4.  The iphone 4S will come in the standard black and white offerings.   But it is what is on the inside that counts right?

So what is on the inside?

The biggest change is that the CPU is an A5 processor with dual core now powers the brain of the iPhone 4S.  Also a dual-core GPU has been added to run the video and graphics.  The display screen remains the same.

The camera has been improved quite a bit on the back side.  It is now an 8 megapixel camera with the same camera on the front side.  The rear camera can shoot 1080p video as well.

Voice recognition software is remarkable.  Siri has been fully integrated to do simple tasks like look for movies, flight times and texting.

You’re probably wondering about the cost.  The 16GB is supposed to be $199 and the 32GB is to be $299.  They have added a 64GB that will run your wallet or purse dry of $399.  But remember that iPhone 4S will have icloud that you can virtually store stuff to as well.iphone 4s

The new iPhone will be available October 14th.  As nice as this all sounds I think I will wait for the iPhone 5.

But more importantly, does that mean there is no iPad 3?  Maybe the launch of the iPad HD/2S/Pro is true.
